DÉLICES
2015
DÉLICES is a duet, a physical experience around the obstinate desire of two bodies to be in fusion: penetrating, swallowing, interlocking, lending themselves to each other and to the game. Like a “dance” built from actions and attempts to fill the abyss that separates two bodies.
Here the idea of fusion is not a question of couple, but rather a utopia which puts the imaginary in movement and poses as a base the relation to the otherness. DÉLICES is a fiction that allows us to enter into a “deconstruction” of the body, and to make the stage a place where we deploy all the possibilities to recompose a new body together.
The stage becomes a laboratory to experience the relationship with the other. It is through different physical situations led by a plurality of qualities of touch that the piece opens other possibilities of link and communication with the other, and approaches the relationship to interdependence.
DÉLICES stages the plasticity of the bodies and suggests their transformation into a material that digs the physical limits.
